There is a moment in every wedding that photographs can only hint at. It's the fraction of a second between the posed smiles. The way light moves through a veil during a private joke. The shimmer in the air during a toast that feels like hope itself.
For years, I captured these moments in stills. And I loved it. And I kept feeling the pull of something missing, the motion of the fleeting. The way a tear travels down a cheek. The way a hand trembles before slipping on a ring. The way laughter sounds when it's real.
That's why I created Motion by Stills by Hernan. Not to replace what we do, but to complete it. To give couples the one thing a photograph can't, the experience of being there, again and again, exactly as it felt.
